Whether you’re looking for information on installation, maintenance, or customization options, we’ve got you covered!

What will the lifespan of my building be?

Our structure design life is 50 years. The fabric itself will last 20–22 years.

Will my building be up to code requirements?

Everything in engineered based on site-specific design loads and requirements. As part of interfacing with each customer, Winston Michael will validate the proper ground snow load, wind speed, and other site-specific engineering factors for the specific building location to ensure the requested building is appropriate. Winston Michael provides drawings sealed by registered professional engineers. Engineers of record are required to be registered in any state in which they stamp drawings. Winston Michael also assists customers with responding to questions from permitting authorities.

How soon can my building be installed?

The amount of time required for delivery and installation depends on the specific project needs to include building type, size, configuration, and what entity will be providing the installation. Standard building models (Advantage, Integrity) range from four to six for delivery and and installation. Custom model is custom made so lead times and installation will typically be longer based on size and configuration, and fit-out requirements.

What climates are fabric buildings suitable for?

Fabric buildings are suitable for all climates and are engineered based on site-specific conditions and criteria.

Will I have to spend more on maintenance than I would for a traditional building?

All buildings have proven to be a better alternative to traditional metal buildings because they provide similar protection while offering abundant natural light, lower energy costs, better airflow, and fewer maintenance requirements. Individual bay Keder Enduro-Loc™ covers are exceptionally low maintenance and weather-secure. When performing installation, Winston Michael will review the maintenance schedule with the customer. This ensures the user knows when and how to inspect and tighten components of each structure to increase lifespan. A maintenance schedule is also included with the warranty paperwork.

What type of foundation will my building be built on?

Multiple foundation options are available to include CMU, precast panels, and even connex boxes. (Note: We have photos of each).
