Our Process
Many customers know they have a facility need but are not sure what options exist or what option best meets their need. Some requirements are relatively simple like general storage while others are more complex like data centers. Based on our over 20 years in the facilities industry, we can listen to your needs and present multiple options for consideration. Our renderings will help you visualize your building and make the right changes before your order is finalized. Designs can comply with any weather condition and are tailored to comply with all local code requirements. Our staff will validate the proper ground snow load, wind speed, and other site-specific engineering factors for the specific building location to ensure the requested building is appropriate for the need and budget. If not, we will work directly with you to modify the design to ensure a proper building is ordered. As part of this, we also work with the customer to identify and required ancillary products and services such as foundation requirements, shipping, and installation services.
Customers typically need sealed engineering facility drawings in order to obtain required permits and ensure compliance with applicable building codes. Winston-Michael provides drawings sealed by registered professional engineers. Our engineers of record are required to be registered in any state in which they stamp drawings. We also understanding challenges such as permitting and can assist customers with responding to questions from permitting authorities.
